| This web database strives to provide a comprehensive literature resource for scientists investigating vesicating agents, including sulfur mustard. Developed for the CounterACT program (Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats), it is hoped that this library will be used by the entire scientific community as a resource for references on vesicating agents that are not available through traditional search mechanisms. The CounterACT program is administered by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke under the direction of the Department of Homeland Security. Funding is provided by Project Bioshield, a government program designed to encourage research and development of medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, and radiological threats.
